The colours, shapes and forms are taken form a series of detailed photographs taken while on beaches on the Isle of Harris.

Textures, acrylics, metallics and resin have been used to achieve the desired effect and feel.

The shapes, colours and forms were all taken form a series of photographs I took when walking the beaches on the Isle of Harris.

Close up and detailed photographs of Husinis beach were used for this artwork. I took the pictures whilst on holiday. I also used shells form the beach as part of this piece.

Textures were added for sand and seaweed, metallics added and then a coat of tinted resin completed the desired look, feel and finish.
