To create the appearance of depth and texture in this artwork, an initial layer of acrylic paint was applied to the canvas and floating frame. Once the acrylic paints had almost dried, subsequent layers of acrylics were added: the canvas was then gently manipulated to create small cracks. This has given the artwork a distinctive and "aged" look.
