Wild Horses.
This artwork was inspired by the form, movement and colouring of specific breeds of Wild Horses.
Layered and three-dimensional; The shapes of the textures represent the different gaits of these majestic animals; Walk, Trot, Canter and Gallop.
The flicks and swirls show the flow of the main and tail, while the more solid textures emphasise the strength and muscular form.
The choice of Metallics and tinted resin are close to the colourings found on the Palomino and Buckskin breeds.
The finished artwork is reflective and toned; Different shades and shadows will form under different light sources. This allows the image to have movement and depth.
